The SEO industry must be a royal pain in the arse for the volunteers over at WikiPedia - "authority links" that you can add yourself? Virtual gold dust if you can get away with it. Fortunately there are tones of people who aren't as obsessed with making a quick buck, who spend time keeping the various articles relevant and spam free.

It was inevitable that a new WikiPedia page would be created for V7ndotcom Elursrebmem - it's a short term SEO contest, so getting some quality links in there can be a huge boost to your SEO campaign.
Right now (Jan 17th 2006), the V7ndotcom Elursrebmem article on WikiPedia is marked for deletion and there is a rampant discussion underway as to whether or not it should be deleted or retained.
My personal opinion is that it should be deleted until the contest is over - the spam editors will have to put up with until that point would be unbearable and some SEOs are even spamming for the fun of it.
In addition, the article that was originally added to WikiPedia was inacurrate - it reflected the Webguerilla ruleset over the v7n.com ruleset. While I agree both should be mentioned, the article should ultimately clarify the actual situation and not simply reflect what mates of your mates think is best.
